How we work

We handle the whole thing

AirPilot is a managed service. We survey the property, install the equipment, connect it to the platform you already book on, and look after it from then on. The same four stages apply to every product we run.

Stage 01 We survey Doors, locks, connectivity and how your properties are run today, before we quote rather than on the day.
Stage 02 We install Our own engineers attend and fit everything. A single property is usually done inside an hour.
Stage 03 We connect Linked to Airbnb, Booking.com, Vrbo or your management system, so it runs off the calendar you already keep.
Stage 04 We manage Monitoring, maintenance, batteries, software and support, for as long as you are with us.
What the plan covers

Included every month

The monthly fee is not a software licence with extras bolted on. It is the whole operation, so that once you are live there is nothing left on your list.

  • Booking platform integration. We read your live reservations and issue each guest their own access, then send it with your arrival instructions at the right moment.
  • Battery replacement. Power is monitored remotely and we attend to it well before it affects an arrival.
  • Hardware and door maintenance. The unit and the lock it turns are ours to look after, including parts and labour.
  • Emergency callouts. A real person answers, can open the door remotely, and can send an engineer if it is ever needed.
  • Software and dashboard. Every property, credential and entry log in one place, kept current at no extra cost.
  • Ongoing monitoring. We watch connectivity across your portfolio and act on it before you would notice.

What happens on every booking

Our most-used service, described end to end. You are not involved at any stage of it.

Source Your booking A reservation lands on Airbnb, Booking.com, Vrbo or your management system.
Engine AirPilot We issue a code for that stay and set the window it works in.
Delivery Your guest They receive a link and a code before arrival and open the door from their browser.
Record The log Every entry is timestamped and kept, so the stay is documented.

Connecting to your bookings

There are two routes in and we set up whichever suits you on the call. Both take minutes.

Calendar sync

Every platform publishes a calendar link. You paste it in once and we read new reservations from it. This covers Airbnb, Booking.com, Vrbo and effectively everything else you are likely to use.

Direct integration

If you run a management system such as Hostaway, Guesty or Hospitable, we connect straight to it. That gives us richer guest detail and lets us tailor the arrival message to each booking.

Installation

What happens on the day

Most properties are done in well under an hour. You do not need to be technical, and you do not need to be there as long as someone can let us in.

1

We confirm the door

Compatibility is checked at survey, so the engineer arrives with the right parts already on the van.

2

We fit the unit

It mounts on the inside of the door over your existing lock. Nothing is drilled, the outside is untouched and your keys keep working.

3

We connect and test it

We link your calendar, generate a genuine code and open the door with it before we leave.

4

We hand over the dashboard

Ten minutes on adding your cleaner, opening the door remotely and reading the access log. After that it runs without you.

Start with a survey

Tell us about your properties and we will confirm what is involved and what it costs each month. No payment is taken.
