Cookie policy
The short version: we use as few as we can get away with.
Working draft. Confirm this matches what the live site actually loads before publishing, because a cookie policy that does not match reality is worse than none.
What we use
Essential storage. When you fill in the quote form, your answers are kept in your own browser so you don't lose them if you go back a step or reload. It never leaves your device until you submit, and it clears when you finish.
Privacy-friendly analytics. Aggregate statistics about which pages get read, with no cross-site tracking, no advertising profiles and no personal identification.
What we don't use
- Advertising or retargeting cookies
- Cross-site tracking pixels
- Social media tracking widgets
- Anything that follows you to other websites
This is also why you aren't being nagged by a cookie banner: we've kept the site simple enough not to need one.
Managing it
You can clear site data at any time through your browser settings. Doing so will discard a part-completed quote form, but nothing else.
